Gabe's Birthday Shoot

Our oldest son's birthday is on Saturday. I can't believe that he will be 2! He is such a delight, and so different from his sister. While she is a bubbly, outgoing personality, he is quiet and contemplative. He is rarely unhappy, but when he is in unfamiliar situations, it takes him time to gather his thoughts, and take it all in. We took him to a petting farm today to celebrate his birthday. He loves animals, and this was his first date with just Mommy and Daddy. Plus, I really wanted to do a cowboy shoot with him, and a farm is the perfect place to do it!

Tea Party with Anastasia

Every few months I try to do a photo shoot with my kids. This photo shoot was even more special because it was a birthday shoot for my little girl (nevermind that she turned four a month ago :)). I try to come up with new ideas, so their pictures don't look the same every time I take them. When I told Anastasia we were going to do a tea party, she got SO excited! We had an absolute blast. (Oh, and the tea is actually pink lemonade :))
