Little Bit

Some dear friends of ours came to town, and I had the privilege of taking some maternity pictures for them. What a blessing it was to see them again! They are expecting a baby boy in July and I can't wait to meet him! Thank you, Matt and Emilee, for letting me take pictures of you and your little one. He will be one very blessed and loved baby :)

Monday in Michigan was cold, wet, and icy. My sister-in-law, future brother-in-law, and I decided to brave the weather to get some engagement pictures, and I saw just how beautiful snow and ice can be. Combine the beauty of snow and ice with the beauty of love and we had an amazing photo shoot. Here are just some of the pictures from that special day .. The True Light

It has been way too long since I've posted! I wanted to share this image that I took yesterday. Winter is by far my favorite season, and Christmas is one of my favorite holidays. The reason Christmas is my favorite holiday is because we get to celebrate Christ coming to earth as a baby. What an amazing gift! I hope you all had a blessed holiday, and I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!

Here is the finished product from Saturday's photo shoot. We have been getting a lot of rain here lately, so we were so happy that the rain stopped, and the sun even came out for a little bit! I can't wait to meet my dear friends' new little addition in a few weeks :)

Gabe's Birthday Shoot

Our oldest son's birthday is on Saturday. I can't believe that he will be 2! He is such a delight, and so different from his sister. While she is a bubbly, outgoing personality, he is quiet and contemplative. He is rarely unhappy, but when he is in unfamiliar situations, it takes him time to gather his thoughts, and take it all in. We took him to a petting farm today to celebrate his birthday. He loves animals, and this was his first date with just Mommy and Daddy. Plus, I really wanted to do a cowboy shoot with him, and a farm is the perfect place to do it!

Three Brothers Makes Lots of Girl Time

We recently found out we are expecting baby boy #3. Our daughter (child #1), desperately wanted a sister, but unfortunately for her, another boy it is. So I promised her that she and I would get lots of girl dates together. And she hasn't forgotten. She has mentioned several times in the past week (we've only known for a week) that we need to go on a date. So tonight we went on a date and did our favorite things. Her favorite thing is to eat ice cream, and mama's favorite thing is to take pictures. We had a blast :)
